When walking, the crown of your head and your knee lead, not your chin.

Lead with the crown of your head and your knee.

Leading with your chin tends to push the neck forward as shown in the image on the left. This is a common habit in almost every movement. Leading with the crown of your head will help you feel less tense and you will walk more easily. The crown is the highest point on your head that is just behind your ears.

The head is free to forward nod and the thorax is like hard rock with lengthen and widen which not disturbs the nodding of the head while the neck stays like pillar supporting the nodding of the head, the knees, hip joints does their duties.
